How To Trick The Player
We love instant gratification.
Place a cookie on a table in front of yourself and see how long you can sit there without eating it (or try it with a marshmallow).
It probably won't sit there long before you eat it!
We are easily tempted.
We also love being efficient. We try to do things as efficiently as possible (or at least we like to think we do). Certainly we don't want to be inefficient, right?
In this video, I build a puzzle that leverages our love of instant gratification and efficiency and I show how you can build a puzzle to use these to trick a player.
I'm using a pre-release version of National Geographic Puzzle Explorer.
